510 LOCAL COMMERCIAL ZONE (C1)

Permitted Uses
510.01 The following uses and no others shall be permitted in the C1 zone:
Commercial Use, limited to:
convenience store, not exceeding a maximum floor area of 300 m²; and
B/L 734-98 Laundromat, in conjunction with a convenience store, provided the total combined
floor area of Laundromat and the convenience store does not exceed 300 m2
Accessory One Unit Residential Use
Conditions of Use
510.02 An accessory one unit residential use shall be:
(1) contained within the building housing a permitted commercial use; and
(2) provided with a separate ground level entrance.

510.03 Storage shall take place entirely within a wholly enclosed building.

Lot Coverage
510.04 The maximum lot coverage shall be 40%.

Height of a Building or Structure
510.05 The maximum height of a principal building shall be 7.6 m.
510.06 The maximum height of an accessory building or structure shall be 4.6 m.

Setbacks
510.07 Buildings and structures shall be sited in accordance with the following minimum

setbacks:
Buildings and Structures for Exterior Lot Line Interior Side Lot Line Interior Rear Lot Line

All Uses 6.0 m  3.0 m, except 0.0 m where abutting a C or I zone 7.5 m
